Look Up!
We are living in days when the church as a whole and the individual believer must rise up with faith in our hearts, and the promises of God on our lips. We exemplify authentic christianity when we praise our Savior and Lord, even during the hard times. The Bible tells us that, “God is not slow in keeping His promises, as some measure slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish.” (2 Peter 3:9). May we all learn to claim Gods’ promises, and never give up, even when we feel like they are slow in coming to pass. Be encouraged and keep looking up. After all, the Word says, “All of God’s promises are yes, positive , and in the affirmative to you.”

While in Vienna Austria, our church will be supporting missionaries, the Henderson family, working at the Vienna Christian Center. They conduct 9 services in 7 different languages every weekend! Our team will be supporting the largest annual event, an International Kids Camp, for ages 4-11. They will be ministering to the English speaking children while doing crafts, games, puppets, skits and serving as counselors to a largely agnostic society. They will be sowing eternal seeds in the hearts of children who might not otherwise hear the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ .

Praise, Glorify, Order, and Reap
Psalms 50:23 states, “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me and to him who orders his conversation correctly, (with righteousness), I will show the mighty salvation of God.”
Oh be careful little tongue what you say, is definitely, and appropriate warning from and old children’s song for us today. Let’s be careful that our conversations are filled with grace and encouragement and seasoned with the salt of God’s faithful word. so that we will be a blessing to the receiver. We can choose to build up or tear down with our thoughts and words, as much or more so than anything else that we have to offer. As the psalmist prayed, ”Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight O Lord.”
I encourage you today to praise someone with your heart and mouth, and start by praising and glorifying the Lord.
Love and Prayers
Pastor John
