Core Values

1. Weekend Worship Service Attendance

We believe that every person should attend and participate in a weekend worship service. This is our opportunity to meet together for worship, to be fed by our pastor, and to interact as the corporate body of the church.

As we experience the continued blessing of the presence of the Lord, and as we maintain the high standard of the quality of Madison Assembly's services, it is our expectation that every family of Madison Assembly will make a strong effort to faithfully attend a worship service each week.

2. Community Connection

We acknowledge that one weekend service does not meet every need of every individual. There are relationship needs that can not be adequately met in the presence of 100 to 1000 others. For this reason, we believe every person should be connected into a small group of people that is capable of bringing community through encouragement, prayer, Bible study and relationship.

3. Church Involvement

We believe every person of Madison Assembly should be involved beyond being fed spiritually and enjoying community. As a person grows in his or her walk with the Lord it is expected that he or she will develop a desire to give back to others by serving in at least one of the ministries or outreaches of the church. This Core Value can be met by being a Sunday school teacher, small group host, usher, greeter, or children's worker, or through a host of other opportunities. We believe every person should find at least one place of consistent involvement in which to serve both the Lord and His church.

4. Stewardship

The Bible teaches that we have a very real responsibility to obey the Lord by giving our tithes and offerings. Every adherent of Madison Assembly should obey the scriptures by being faithful with God's tithe, 10% of all income. With the understanding that all we have is from the Lord, our tithes should just be the beginning of what we offer Him in return for His faithfulness to us. Other opportunities to faithfully give to the Lord include special offerings, missions, development and any other areas as the Lord would lead.

5. Global Evangelism

Madison Assembly believes that all blessings we have experienced and all that will come are based upon the principle that God blesses those who do His work! His work is the redemption of all mankind, at home and abroad! We believe that every Christian should take an active role in global evangelism. We are committed to seeking opportunities to pray, give and go! We must reach, teach and send (or go).
